SEMA Error Codes
The result of the operation or part of the operation as defined in [SEMA] (4.2.31).
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| 0 | Success |
| 1 | The operation was rejected because argument value(s) were missing or invalid, or you have been barred from using the operation. |
| 2 | The operation failed because the SMSC database was full, or an unexpected message database error occurred |
| 3 | The operation failed because the SMSC was busy |
| 4 | The operation failed because the specified SM is not in the SMSC database (in the case of the Delete SM, Enquire SM and Replace SM operations) or because the SMSC database holds no SMs from the SME for the specified destination MSISDN (in the case of the Delete All SMs operation) |
| 5 | The operation failed because the SM was already in the SMSC database (duplicated SME Reference Number and Duplicate Message Behaviour set to Reject Duplicates). |
Status of an SM as reported in a Status Report or Enquire SM Result as defined in [SEMA] (4.2.41).

| 1 | Unable to deliver SM - delivery abandoned |
| 2 | The SM has expired |
| 3 | The SM has been delivered |
| 4 | The SM has been deleted by the owning SME |
| 5 | The SM has been deleted by an SMSC operator |
| 6 | Unable to deliver SM - retrying delivery |
Delivery Failure Reason as defined in [SEMA] (4.2.8).

| 14 | Unidentified Subscriber |

| 19 | Call Barred by User |
| 20 | Rejected by SME with data formatting error |
| 21 | Rejected by SME - SME database full |
| 22 | Rejected by SME - SME busy |
| 23 | Error in transmission between the SMSC and the messages final destination |
| 24 | Error in transmission caused by suspected major network failure |
| 25 | Absent Subscriber - Paging failure |
| 26 | Absent Subscriber - GPRS detached |
| 27 | Absent Subscriber - De-registered in HLR |
| 28 | Absent Subscriber - Roaming restriction |
| 29 | Absent Subscriber - MS Purged |
| 30 | Call Barred due to failed credit check - no credit remaining |
| 31 | Call Barred due to failed credit check - no access time remaining |
| 32 | All of the messages queued for this destination have deferred delivery times in the future. |
